Key Benefits

Automatic Tax Calculation

Configure your GST rates once, and ParcelPOS calculates CGST and SGST automatically on every bill. Support for 5%, 12%, 18%, and custom tax rates. Tax-inclusive and tax-exclusive pricing modes available.

Compliant Invoice Format

Every receipt printed by ParcelPOS follows the GST invoice format. Your GSTIN, FSSAI license number, restaurant address, and tax breakup are clearly displayed. Proper invoice numbering with sequential tracking.

Tax Reports for Filing

Generate GST summary reports for any date range. See total tax collected, breakup by CGST and SGST, and item-wise tax details. Share reports directly with your CA or accountant via PDF.

Multi-Tax Configuration

Different menu items can have different tax rates. Configure tax at the category or item level. ParcelPOS handles the complexity of mixed-tax bills seamlessly.

FSSAI Compliance

Display your FSSAI license number on every receipt as required by law. Configure it once in settings, and it appears automatically on all printed and digital invoices.

How It Works

1

Configure GST Settings

Enter your GSTIN, restaurant registered name, address, and FSSAI license number in ParcelPOS settings. Set the default GST rate (most restaurants use 5% for non-AC dining). Choose tax-inclusive or tax-exclusive pricing.

2

Set Category/Item Tax Rates

If all items have the same tax rate, you are done with step 1. For mixed rates, set tax rates at the category level. Items in AC dining may be at 18%, while non-AC items are at 5%. ParcelPOS handles it all.

3

Automatic Billing

Take orders and bill normally. ParcelPOS automatically calculates the correct CGST and SGST for each item. The receipt shows a clear tax breakup with totals. No manual intervention needed.

4

Generate Tax Reports

At month-end or quarter-end, generate GST reports from the Reports section. Get a complete summary of taxes collected, ready to share with your accountant for GST filing.

Key Features

Built specifically for this workflow.

GSTIN on Every Receipt

Your 15-digit GSTIN is prominently displayed on every printed and digital receipt. This is a mandatory requirement for GST-registered restaurants and ParcelPOS handles it automatically.

CGST/SGST Split Display

Tax breakup on receipts clearly shows CGST and SGST amounts separately. For inter-state transactions (rare for restaurants), IGST can be configured. The format meets GST invoice requirements.

Tax-Inclusive Pricing

Display menu prices inclusive of tax (MRP style) or exclusive of tax. Either way, the receipt shows the correct breakup. Most restaurants prefer inclusive pricing for customer-friendly menus.

Invoice Numbering

Sequential invoice numbering with customizable prefixes. The format follows GST guidelines with financial year reference. Numbering is automatic and tamper-proof.

GST Summary Reports

Generate reports showing total taxable value, CGST collected, SGST collected, and total tax for any date range. Export as PDF to share with your chartered accountant.

Service Charge Configuration

Configure optional service charge percentage. It is displayed separately on the bill as per regulatory guidelines. Service charge is calculated before tax or after tax based on your preference.
